“It never occurred to me that in our small community, there are so many people who are suffering… I had not thought much about others until I became part of their lives through the Need to Read Book Club. The book club has affected me in so many ways. It taught me to be more compassionate and understanding towards others and to not take things for granted. If I had not joined the book club, I don’t think I would be the same person that I am today.” “My most favorite book I read from the NTRBC this year was Dracula because the horror fiction book kept me on the edge of the seat while I read every page!
